Romancing Yourself.

Yes, I said it. Romancing Yourself!

Sometimes you go through a period in which you become so caught up in life and whatnots you get lost in life's daily dramas. Have you ever stopped to ask what has become of you? Or Who are you today?
Its good to give love, time and energy to those you care for, but how can you give to others what you dont have much for yourself?  Its a long process, but I believe its gonna be worth it. Rebuilding my indepence, confidence, and my self-love.

So here are some things that popped into my head listening to others problems and some of them for my very own good:

*Dont wait for others to do those "little things" for me. I am more than capable of doing it for myself.
(There is nothing wrong with buying yourself flowers, chocolates, etc! Esp if your taste changes according to your mood-likes mines- then you will be happier with your choice.)

*Taking myself out to a quiet dinner, movie, or basically a date.
(Therefore I can enjoy spoiling myself with whatever I feel like, pigging out with dessert included and NOT FEEL self-conscious about it! Oh and on another note, I plead GUILTY! I AM A TALKER!! so i AM my own best companion while watching a movie. Don't hate me for it. I have spared many people from the ordeal.)

*Do things or buy things for myself that will make me feel better about who I am.
(Give yourself MAKEOVERS. Get a new hairdo....Just whatever you define to be beautiful. Like the saying goes, "Once you look good. You feel good." And DONT BE AFRAID to try new looks or new trends!)

*DONT BE AFRAID TO REINVENT WHO I AM.
(I can be whom ever I want to be at whichever stage of life I am at. We don't have to live our life according to others.)

I can go on forever with my list, but I hope it may inspire you to make your own list. I have seen so many people change themselves for others. They get so lost they sometimes they dont know how to get back to who they were. I may not be Dr. Phil or Oprah Winfrey or even some spectaculer beauty guru out there, but I have had my own journey (probably even similar to yours). With all that being said, I sincerely.....

hope your heart heals from pain past and present.
hope you find your inner beauty and cherish it.
hope you find peace and forgiveness.
hope you fall love in yourself again.

God Bless!
